Joshua and Paul are now in Miami with fight week proceedings underway ahead of their heavyweight showdown on Friday night.
Throughout the build-up, of course the boxing world believes Joshua is a heavy favourite to get a booming KO given his achievements and size in comparison to Paul.
Paul is an overwhelming underdog, but as a disruptor, is fuelled by the possibility of one of sport’s biggest ever upsets.
Joshua is hoping to ignite his own upwards trajectory, looking to respond in his first outing since losing to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
And he has linked up with two-time former rival Usyk’s team where he has been training in Spain.
Now, Joshua has shown off what he has learned in a workout for the fans where he went through the motions alongside members of his new team.
AJ showed off some skipping before crashing the pads and showing off a glimpse of his crisp punching power.
Joshua leaves fans impressed with workout footage
Many believe that after watching the footage, the former Olympian is already showing signs of improvement.
One wrote: “Much more mobile. Foot work is improved. Head movement on point.
“Not rushing his jab. Good luck to Jake, he’s gonna need it.”
Another agreed: “Some big changes here.”

A viewer continued: “Boxing is about angles and movement. He looks less robotic and more fluid here.
“That is a good sign, hopefully it transitions into the actual fight.”
As a result, one wrote: “You have to worry for Jake, he’s got literally nothing for AJ to worry about.”
Joshua’s warning to Paul
After the conclusion of his workout, Joshua took the opportunity to fire yet another ominous message to his adversary.
He said: “It’s not just that it’s Jake,” he explained. “I was actually looking at myself today, I’m a very respectful guy brought up by a good family.
“But if I can kill you, I will kill you. That’s just how I am and this is just the job I do, so let’s go.
“I’m carrying boxing on my back, I did it with the Francis Ngannou fight and I’m doing it again.
“I understand the expectation, I don’t carry it because the expectation I have on myself is enough but I acknowledge it, I understand it and I respect it.”
